CLEVELAND – Continued inclement weather in the region has forced yet another adjustment to the Case Western Reserve University baseball schedule. The Wednesday, March 27 game scheduled versus Muskingum University has been postponed. Although anticipated, a make-up date has yet to be determined.
The game was also to serve the dedication of the new scoreboard at Nobby's Ballpark, which was made possible by the generous support of alumnus Nobby Lewandowski. That event will now take place prior to the Sunday, April 7 game versus The College of Wooster.
The Spartans (9-5) won two out of three games in a key weekend series at regional-rival and No. 14 Heidelberg University this past Saturday and Sunday. The team is scheduled to be back on the road for four games in two days this weekend. Ohio Wesleyan University is the opponent on Friday, March 29 with a 2:00 p.m. doubleheader in Delaware, while Thiel College (Pa.) will play host to a 1:00 p.m. twinbill on Saturday, March 30 in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
