Piper joined the Case Western Reserve University Sports Medicine staff as an assistant athletic trainer prior to the start of the 2015-16 academic year. His primary responsibilities include working with the women's soccer, wrestling and baseball teams, while also teaching classes in kinesiology, wellness and upper extremity.
Piper comes to CWRU after working as an Athletic Trainer at Precision Orthopedics Specialists, Inc. in Chardon, Ohio since 2010. He had previously worked at the University of Findlay as an Assistant Athletic Trainer from 2009-10, and as a Graduate Assistant at California University of Pennsylvania from 2008-09.
Piper received his undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Baldwin-Wallace University in 2008. He earned his Master of Science in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
