Recreational Equipment Check out (Daily Use)

The Issue Room, located on the lower level of the Veale Center is stocked with recreational equipment that may be checked out by presenting a current Case ID card or Recreation card.

Equipment must be returned the same day or a fine will be charged to cover replacement costs. Lost or damaged equipment must be paid for at the replacement cost. (Equipment shall be considered lost if it is not returned within five days.)

Equipment that is available for use includes basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, tennis racquets and balls, softball equipment, racquetball racquets and balls, squash racquets and balls, weight belts, and table tennis paddles and balls.

Overnight or Extended Use (Overnight or Extended Use)

Arrangements can be made at the Issue Room to check out equipment for overnight or extended use. There is a limited quantity of items available for use. Reservations for recreational equipment can be made two weeks in advance of the date the equipment is needed and require a $20 deposit. An equipment rental fee needs to be paid at the time of the reservation. Equipment rental fees are refundable if the reservation is canceled 48 hours in advance.

Equipment must be picked up and returned to the Issue room by the assigned dates. The person receiving the equipment must leave their Case picture ID or Recreation Facility Card with the Issue Room attendant. Equipment not returned by the assigned date will be assessed late fees. Lost or damaged equipment must be paid for at the replacement cost. (Equipment shall be considered lost if it is not returned within five days of the assigned date.)
